Bringing Wild Light and Hope to Nepal
Early last year, a massive 7.8 earthquake rocked Nepal killing thousands.  The devastation was widespread, destroying nearly a million homes and more than 10,000 schools.  To support Nepal's ongoing efforts to rebuild, Wildland Adventures has partnered with 3 Summits for Nepal for the Charity Climb for Nepal.  Four of our staff will be climbing to the summit of Mt. Rainier July 28-30th to help raise awareness of this issue and the necessary funds to make a difference. These funds will go directly to purchase solar panels for four village schools that are still without power, bringing light and hope that they have been without for over a year. We are a grassroots, community-based, nonprofit organization headquartered in Seattle with operations in the Phalombe district of Malawi, Africa. We focus on educating Malawians toward self dependency through youth education, adult literacy, and economic community development.
