Nepal Night a Tremendous Success!

Nepal Night a Tremendous Success!
Thank you to everyone who came out to help support Wildland Adventures’ efforts to put solar panels on five schools in Nepal. Our event was successful beyond our wildest dreams thanks to our generous community, netting over $5,500!  Over 60 people came out in a show of support for the students of Nepal. The event was held at The Himalayan Sherpa House, a local Nepali restaurant here in Seattle. It provided the perfect atmosphere for our event and everyone got to learn how to make momos! The panels will be placed on schools in the Singla and Tapeljung districts and set up this fall. Having light available to the teachers and students will facilitate a higher degree of learning and student engagement. Can you imagine trying to learn in the dark? Neither can we! We offer gratitude on behalf of the hundreds of students who will be able to learn with...

Bringing Wild Light and Hope to Nepal

Bringing Wild Light and Hope to Nepal
Early last year, a massive 7.8 earthquake rocked Nepal killing thousands.  The devastation was widespread, destroying nearly a million homes and more than 10,000 schools.  To support Nepal's ongoing efforts to rebuild, Wildland Adventures has partnered with 3 Summits for Nepal for the Charity Climb for Nepal.  Four of our staff will be climbing to the summit of Mt. Rainier July 28-30th to help raise awareness of this issue and the necessary funds to make a difference. These funds will go directly to purchase solar panels for four village schools that are still without power, bringing light and hope that they have been without for over a year. Please support our Wild cause! Help us reach our goal of $5,000 to bring solar power to four village schools by donating to our cause on our fundraising page. With your help, Wildland Adventures has been supporting environmental and social causes around the globe for the past 30 years. Please consider a donation to our Wild cause! Below you'll find some...
