Travel Reviews on India

Traveling to India is never just a vacation, it's an opportunity to immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, tastes and spirit of divergent ancient cultures. Our 19-day Tigers and Travels Adventure is the most comprehensive and in-depth exploration of India's rich natural and cultural heritage. This trip was chosen by National Geographic Traveler as a "Tour of a Lifetime" and one of their "10 Great Adventure Trips That Give Back" for our conservation program to protect tigers. Regardless of all the awards, what really matters is the guest experience and this trip really provides our travelers with a taste of the real India. Below is a short video about what our guests thought and felt while they were on the trip. In addition, a few quotes from our travelers.

What a great introduction to Indian culture and history including the excitement of a tiger safari! I never imagined that India was just so diverse in culture, language, religion, size and more. I could not ask for a better trip to this region. We want to praise our guide, Digpal Singh Rathore (Digi), who was absolutely outstanding. He was extremely knowledgeable about wildlife (especially birds), was very considerate about our needs and comfort, was approachable about any and all subjects we were interested in learning more about, and had a wonderful sense of humor. In fact, this is the only time in my many travels that I told a guide should he/she come our way in the United States, we would be delighted to host him/her in our home."

"WE SAW TIGERS TODAY!!!!!! Elephant back was amazing!!! Tigress up close for a good hour or two, her 3 cubs scampered away. We saw her 1/2 eaten kill and watched her lolling about. Then she dragged her kill into the brush. AMAZING. So glad for the experience. Truly of a lifetime.

Every trip you do is so unique and special. Our trip to India was another phenomenal experience! This trip has it all, it covered everything from tiger reserves to cultural sites throughout Rajasthan. You put so much into every trip it’s worth every penny every second! I was the luckiest one in the group when it came to the wildlife. I spent an hour watching a tiger!!!"

To top it all off, we have an amazing India program director, Laura Finkelstein, who handles everything about this trip for you. If you would like more information you can send Laura an email.

BONUS: Right now we are offering $500 off per person on our February departure (2/16 - 3/6/2014). We think everyone needs to see the real India and hope this offer can help makes the dream of seeing India come true for more travelers.
