One thing I love about working in the adventure travel industry is the small world experiences that seem to happen across the globe. Jhai Coffee is one such example and we're proud to support this philanthropic coffee house in Southern Laos as one of our Traveler's Conservation Trust projects.  Tyson Adams, the founder of Jhai Coffee, grew up in Ephrata, WA. After graduating he worked in Laos at a non-profit where he fell in love with the country and saw an opportunity to create change at the Boliven Plateau in Southern Laos. He returned three years ago and started Jhai Coffee, the world's first philanthropic coffee roaster located at the source. In just three years Jhai has built 15 clean water wells in the surrounding villages, educated hundreds of children on proper hygeine, and brought Laos coffee to international market.  Coffee is the lifeblood of the Boliven Plateau.
