Just when we thought it could not get any better, we met up with Marco…
In this post, Karen and Thomas share their Lapa Rios Tropical Adventure  experience, probably the most last-minute trip I’ve put together in my 20 years as a travel planner! They contacted me on a Monday and traveled on Wednesday... of the same week!. This trip great has seen many satisfied travelers and, over the years, been continually updated to be one of our most popular trips (especially for couples and families with children over 6 years old).  Let me share what they had to say in their review of the trip... "Hi Grettel: I can hardly put into words what a fabulous trip we had—starting from the moment I spoke with you on the phone everything went like clockwork. I do not have time to completely reply at this point, but I’ll hit the highlights: Lapa Rios was absolutely amazing. The staff was professional and friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Although some...

I don't want this trip to end!

I don't want this trip to end!

The country offers a lot in terms of personal safety, lovely accommodations and a variety of unique adventures. Plus, many cultural activities perfect for travel enthusiasts of all ages. It's truly an incredible gift for a grandparent to be able to plant the seeds of growth through travel and discovery at an early age. Where these positive experiences will help expand their horizons and possibly last a lifetime. Regardless if it's experiencing a new activity or taking part in a cultural tradition, the lessons learned by...

We chose this trip because we love adventure

We chose this trip because we love adventure
Guest review from  Undiscovered Caribbean Costa Rica Adventure "Thanks for a great trip. We received excellent prep information. Having done many trips without a tour group, much of the information was a gentle reminder. The checklists were time saving and thoughtful. Both lodges offered different experiences and they were both wonderful. Selva Bananito was amazing and different. The Shawanda Lodge was lovely with lots of wildlife on the grounds. I loved the snorkeling and experience in Cahuita. The waterfall hike and rappel was awesome. Other highlights were the boat ride and day at the Bribri Indigenous community, the salsa lesson and cooking lessons and the Sloth Sanctuary. Alex Arias was professional, knowledgeable and a lot of fun. He watched out for our comfort and safety and made sure that we had the best experience possible. He was able to teach us about the history of the country and the places we...
