Piranha Fishing & Machu Picchu

Piranha Fishing & Machu Picchu
This Wild family of three just returned from a custom adventure to Machu Picchu and the Amazon .  After hiking a segment of the Inca Trail, getting a taste of Peru’s cutting edge culinary delights, mountain biking through the highlands and ending piranha fishing in the Amazon, they had quite a few stories to share! “Gretchen, thanks to you and the entire Wildland Adventures team, we enjoyed a fantastic vacation!  Started off very well with your recommendation and subsequent reservation at Casa Moreyra, Astird & Gaston in Lima for our first amazing dinner (Astird introduced herself and we had a very nice chat J).   Accommodations, activities and most importantly, the Wildland Adventures representatives, drivers and naturalists/guides throughout our Peruvian adventure were top-notch!   Today alone, I’ve mentioned/recommended Wildland Adventures multiple times to friends at work. Where to go? Scout for Jaguars in the expansive wetlands of Brazil's Pantanal Swim with pink dolphins and explore the rainforest canopy on our Best of Brazil Adventue . Snorkel in crystal clear rivers and explore ancient caves in Bonito on our Brazil family adventure ....

Want to Try Vietnamese Noodles with Obama and Bourdain?
To be honest, we can't actually organize dinner with President Obama and food connoisseur Anthony Bourdain (RIP) but we have long been sending our travelers to Bun Cha, the very joint they chose for their $6 lunch rendezvous on May 23.    Our Vietnam itineraries allow you to dive into Hanoi’s diverse neighborhoods, sample new foods, and experience life like a local. Start the day at Hoan Kiem Lake, where groups of people can be found practicing tai chi and aerobics in the early morning – you’re free to join in if you like! Explore Ngoc Son Temple, situated in the middle of Hoan Kiem Lake, before walking to a charming traditional coffee shop to sample a Vietnamese classic: Cà phê sữa đá (iced coffee). If you’re feeling more adventurous, try the local delicacy known as “egg coffee,” a fusion of egg yolk, sugar, condensed milk, and coffee. After coffee, stop in at a...
