Still wishing we had never come home from Nicaragua!

Still wishing we had never come home from Nicaragua!
Guest review from Michael and Caroline's Wildland Nicaragua Adventure Tour We had such a great time on the trip and are still wishing we had never come home! I told my wife that we should retire in Nicaragua instead of Mexico or the US. The trip was that good and I can't say enough about our guide Julio. I know you know how good he is, but really words can't express how utterly impressed we were with his knowledge of the country and its plants and animals. His ability to go beyond the itinerary to add interesting and fun things for us to do, and his overall enthusiasm for his work. He is a catch - don't lose him!  Thanks again for everything. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wildland to anyone. Best regards, Michael and Caroline I nterested in travel to Nicaragua? Check out our adventures in Nicaragua Love reading about...

Remarkably Knowledgeable Naturalists and Guides

Remarkably Knowledgeable Naturalists and Guides
Hello, and thank you, muchas gracias , to everyone at Wildland Adventures for your expertise, calm guidance, and good sense in arranging our wonderful Galapagos trip in the latter half of August. It still feels as if the ink is not dry from it yet, but we wanted to let you know (before it does) that this was a fantastic adventure, on many levels, and we greatly appreciate all that you did to make it so. We realize that it is really a privilege to visit there, and to be able to do so in the company of interesting people, remarkably knowledgeable naturalists and guides, and the gracious and capable captain and crew on the Eric was quite special. All the best. John Blanchard and Kathleen LoGiudice  Galapagos Adventure Cruise - Eric/Flamingo/Letty

Takeaways From The Galapagos

Takeaways From The Galapagos
Guest review from Val B, a grandma traveling with her daughter and two grandkids to the Galapagos. First off, Wildland Adventures provided excellent materials and prep work for our Galapagos Family Adventure . All crew on the ship ( Flamingo I ) were excellent. They worked for us, but seemingly enjoyed each other, too. Which makes for a great team spirit and enthusiasm that could be "felt" by all. Our Naturalist guides, Gabby and Karina were exceptionally knowledgeable, and nice. There wasn't one question they couldn't answer fully. At the end, it was like we were "family" --- I've been on a lot of tours (Africa, China, Peru, Antarctica) and NEVER had such a great experience with trip leaders. Our local (Quito) guide, Marya, was super nice, friendly, and took us to really fun places. And, I LOVED that Karina made a cd of her photos and video for each of...

One of our most popular trips through Patagonia, the Best of Patagonia , is a perfect example of this with flexible options already built in to the itinerary. All travelers are given the choice to stay at the Patagonia Camp in Torres del Paine or upgrade to Explora Patagonia , located within the National Park.  The two lodges are both exceptional in their own way but we leave it up to you to decide which price point and experience is the best fit...

Nothing like a little hard work on your family vacation

Nothing like a little hard work on your family vacation
Call us weird, but our family does not mind a little hard work during a vacation. The important adjective here i s "little." The staff at Wildland knows our prefe rences very well, and that is why we enjoy traveling with Wildland so much. On December 29, 2013 we began our adventures in Costa Rica with a ride through the interior highlands of the country. Our guide made stops along the way to show us a variety of wildlife: toucans, sloths, and iguanas to name a few. After a therapeutic stop for ice cream, it was time to get serious. We arrived at La Fortuna Waterfall for some swimming. Two brave family members out of four made the decision to get their feet wet. The water in the swimming hole was chilly, but the experience to swim near a gorgeous 150 ft waterfall was unforgettable. The jovial atmosphere at La Fortuna...
