Mother-Daughter Duo Conquer Patagonia!

Mother-Daughter Duo Conquer Patagonia!
This mother-daughter duo just returned from a custom Hikers Patagonia Adventure in Torres del Paine National Park, Chile and the Fitz Roy area in Los Glaciares National Park, Argentina. Below they share some of their thoughts, highlights and advice from the trip.  "We totally loved our trip! Our hikes with Explora in Torres del Paine and later in El Chalten were terrific! Actually, all of our hiking experiences were outstanding. Perito Moreno and the penguins were awesome too. Explora was magic and we loved everything about the experience there. Great food, great room with that insane view, great guides, great hikes. It cost a lot but we loved the easy access to everything from there right in the park. We loved El Chalten. It has a lovely feel to it (a bit like Banff Alberta!). Chalten Suites was lovely—we loved the family owned aspect of it. They gave us great restaurant recommendations. We went...

We have traveled with Wildland 3 times before and have loved the trips. We believe you all do South America better than anyone! We were incredibly grateful for all of Gretchen's help in planning this trip and her patience in helping with the changes and questions along the way. We were especially grateful and impressed with how Gretchen and others helped us when our daughter missed her connection. The Delta agents kept telling her not to go to Santiago because of the strike but she left anyway and we kept our fingers crossed that it would work. Thanks to all of you, she made it...

The Hiking was Wonderful!!
This active family of four just returned from a custom Hikers Patagonia Adventure in Patagonia and share some of their incredible experiences:“First of all, we enjoyed all the hiking- it was wonderful!!Second, we loved all of our guides!  Lorena in Santiago took care of us well. Chris in Patagonia Camp was good and entertaining. Ismail, Frederico in Calafate were great. Andres in El Chalten was especially good. Had a nice pace for hiking and just an easy guy to be around for 9-10 hours. His knowledge of geology was great and interesting to us.Patagonia Camp yurts were fun, unique, warm, cozy, and loved that they were separated. El Puma, in El Chalten, was very comfortable and well situated. Loved Alta Vista in El Calafate because I wouldn't have wanted to be in town. I loved hiking from the house and riding the horses was special. Alta Vista’s meals  were exceptional. I...
