Take a break and sip a refreshing drink on a veranda overlooking the river while watching fishing and tour boats glide through the waters. Start the day with a visit to the market to pick out the freshest local spices and produce for the cooking course, which focuses on an introduction to Thai ingredients and curry pastes. After the market, cook 4 dishes, each demonstrated first by Sompon and his experienced staff. They will share tips about alternative cooking methods and substitutes throughout the demonstrations. Then it is your turn! Cook each dish yourself, with teachers on hand to help and guide you with step-by-step instructions. Once you have cooked 2 dishes, sit down to relax and eat the fruits of your hard work. After lunch you will make 2 more dishes and then eat once again.
