Our Marketing Manager is a worldwide adventurer, always seeking opportunities to share the deeper experiences that define the 'Wild Style' of travel.  California grown, Jonathan got an early start exploring the world: "My Dad was always keen to take me into the wilderness and showed me not only how to protect and maintain our wildlands, but also how to survive in them." Jonathan's passion for adventure travel has taken him far from home throughout Europe, down under, into South America, and to all the major national parks of the western states leading trips, competing in international snowboard events, searching for the best places for rock climbing, and studying Spanish. He launched his career in the adventure travel world as a professional guide and marketing specialist utilizing his field experiences with guests and his communication prowess to develop meaningful marketing geared to savvy travelers.

Kirsten inherited her sense of wanderlust from her parents; her mother was in President Kennedy’s first class of Peace Corps volunteers (stationed in Lesotho) and then traveled throughout the African continent as a single woman. Having traveled to over thirty countries in less than three decades, Kirsten is particularly passionate about Southeast Asia and South America, areas that share the appeal of vibrant cultures and history, genuine hospitality, savory cuisine and boundless opportunities for active adventures off the beaten path. A former program director at Wildland Adventures, Kirsten is now a professional guide.

Jeff shares his passion for venturing out to explore new places and distant cultures both past and present. He holds a BA in Anthropology from Colorado College and has participated in archaeological field work on Easter Island, and in Tanzania, Niger, Sudan, and southwest Colorado. Along his journeys Jeff has developed language skills in French, Spanish, and Swahili. He believes that the ancient past can shed light the way for a better future. As Program Director with experience in East Africa, Belize, Guatemala, Morocco, Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands, Jeff is intrigued by how both indigenous peoples and modern cultures cope with the new stresses and opportunities of globalization.
