Virginia and her husband Abegboyega, both retired, reached out looking for an active trip to Southern Africa. We worked together to plan a trip that combined the best of Cape Town, Victoria Falls and both the Linyanti and the Okavango Delta region of Botswana. Here's what they had to say about their experience:
"We enjoyed the whole trip but especially the game drives, where we experienced a visceral connection with nature that led to a profound understanding of the circle of life and the "oneness" of all beings. What really enhanced the game drives was the knowledge of the guides. We felt as though we were with a professor with Ph.Ds in every natural science. We learned so much about the animals and the complexity of the habitat and how every feature of every species, plant and animal, fits together and is designed for the benefit of that species survival or the benefit of another species survival. All our guides, Fortune in Victoria Falls, Joe in Linyanti, Mighty in Khwai, Thebang and Doug in Cape Town were extremely knowledgeable and professional. The tents in the bush camps were so comfortable and well equipped and we were pleasantly surprised to find lovely hot showers in our tent. "Glamping" at its best! We are vegetarian and did not expect to be eating really tasty, gourmet meals but what a surprise, we ate better than we eat at home." - Virginia T.
