Brazil Guest Review: "We saw 11 jaguars on the first day!"

The Hammers recently returned from our Ultimate Jaguar & Wildlife Adventure in Brazil and shared their highlights and some of their amazing wildlife photos with us.

"This was our 5th trip with Wildland and we have never been disappointed with the itineraries, guides, transports, accommodations, and opportunity to see wildlife and to customize our trips. We'd been to the Amazon in Ecuador, but we wanted to experience the wildlife of the Pantanal and the Brazilian Amazon as well. All the places we traveled to in Brazil were outstanding, but we were particularly enchanted with the jaguars. Our guide Tony and our boatman in Porto Jofre provided us with an amazing first day. We saw 11 jaguars and it was the most intimate and special experience with the cats because there was no other boat traffic. "

"Our guide Tony da Silva was perhaps the best guide we've ever had, and we were thrilled that we had him for both lodges in the Pantanal. His experience and observational abilities were astounding. Our driver in Sao Paulo, Rosana Ribeiro, was terrific too. We had opted out of a city tour on our final day and after meeting her, we're sorry we did. She gave us a great insight into Sao Paulo on the drives from and to the airport and she would've undoubtedly provided a super city tour. We enjoyed the intimacy of Araras Lodge. Tea time and the bar provided chances to talk with other travelers and we were surprised with a cake and champagne on our first night, which happened to be our anniversary (orchestrated by Wildland)."

"The trip was beyond our wildest imaginings and we doubt if anything else will top!" - The Hammers
