Elliott and Taddy heard about Wildland from their friend Alice, a long-time Wildland alumni, and together, they all had an epic safari in Namibia. They shared some amazing photos with us and some of their highlights as well.
"The trip was top rate all the way. Chris Moriarty worked it all out for us and added a few of our requests such as the Cheetah Conservation and the rock art. I really appreciated the quality National Geo map, wildlife guide, and note book provided. Also the practical info about electricity and monetary exchange was helpful. All the extras that made service seem special and i'd not been given such on any other tours I've taken. We stayed in lovely lodging and had knowledgeable guides at every place. Some highlights were seeing the three cheetahs lounging under the bush and the lion cubs trying to figure out how to eat a waterbuck their mums had brought down. And the astounding scenery of Sossusvlei!"
"The Namibian guides are so impressive. Not only do they know so much, they make you feel cared for and safe. Peter Nuugonya became one of our little group and was an amazing animal spotter, even while driving. John in Hoodia gave us a desert tutorial, chasing down scorpions and digging up spiders. He also set up a lovely sundowner and then discreetly withdrew. All of our gentlemen guides would have been right at home in the British Court."
"Little Ongava, Huab Under Canvas, and Camp Kipwe were the standout accommodations - all could have been in Architectural Digest. Even the rough ride to get to them was exciting and gave us a sense we were getting far far away. And oh the stars! If you're going to Namibia just relax and let Wildland Adventures work it out." Elliott J.
"We had a fantastic visit to Namibia and we were bowled over by the country and the TLC with which we were handled. Thank you for a stunning, or as our friend Elliott said, "gripping" experience." - Taddy M.
