New Zealand Guest Review | From North to South

sailing-new-zealand

Andrew and Darlene returned from a custom trip to New Zealand with us and it sounds like they had the time of their lives! They traveled all over the country, from North to South, and sampled many of our favorite things that New Zealand has to offer. From fly fishing to walking some of New Zealand's most famous tracks to a helicopter flight that allowed them to see the country from a birds eye view they really did it all! Here's a little more from them:

"We chose Wildland Adventures because we had traveled with Wildland to the Galapagos Islands, Patagonia and the Beagle Channel in the past. This time we created a custom trip to New Zealand which we felt was a comprehensive tour of both north and south islands. From the moment we were met at the Dunedin Airport, our travel was well orchestrated. We were confident and well-prepared travelers."

"The Doubtful Sound overnight cruise on the MV Southern Secret was a highlight and set the tone for the remainder of our adventure. Certainly, being able to fly fish in New Zealand on the Motaura River and Motella River out of Nelson was a thrill. Our walks on the Kepler, Milford and Queen Charlotte tracks and our forest walks with the birds and flowers were definite highlights. Seeing and feeling the differences in the many forests, from the rainforests on the south island to the Kauri forests on the north island, was very insightful. All of our guides along the way were excellent, knowledgeable and fun."

"Discovering New Zealand's history through our travels was a pleasant surprise."
