Rugged Beauty, Remoteness and Lack of People

This couple just returned from a custom trip to Patagonia with their friends. Starting in Santiago, they worked their way down to Torres del Paine National Park for hiking and exploring the environs and then came back north to visit the rustic coastal vineyards.

Tierra Patagonia

“Torres del Paine national park and all of Patagonia stood out the most to us during this trip because of the rugged beauty, remoteness and the lack of people. Tierra Patagonia was awesome in the true sense of the word!! The staff was extremely professional, friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs. It was an excellent stay.

The views from Tierra Patagonia will provide peace and tranquility to me for many, many years. The park was breathtaking and the activities offered were numerous and there were several levels of abilities from which to choose.

The guides at Tierra Patagonia were all outstanding and could speak English well enough to give us good information about our activities and the history of the area. The hotel was magnificent and I would highly recommend it to everyone. It was so much nicer than other hotels in the area and much more reasonably priced.

Yeslyn, our guide in Santiago, was a very enthusiastic guide and we loved her! Her English was good enough for us to understand her and she was definitely open to improving it. She was very professional, friendly, bubbly and flexible. I would most assuredly recommend her as a guide.

The Singular Patagonia was also a very special and unique place. I was so impressed with the use of the space in the historical facility. La Casona was also in a beautiful valley and the rooms were quite comfortable.

The breakfast buffet at the Tierra Patagonia was expansive and delicious. The food there, although limited, was excellent. Pelar was our favorite waitress. The food at the Singular Patagonia was delicious and many local favorites were on the menu. The head waiter, Enrici, was humorous, outgoing and very accommodating.

We decided to book this trip with Wildland Adventures because of your willingness to work with us on a custom-prepared trip and the ultimate cost of the trip. We couldn't have been more prepared.

A toast to a perfect Patagonia adventure!

Some advice for other travelers considering this trip: I would suggest spending more time in Torres del Paine National Park in Patagonia and going to the Atacama Desert and the lake areas as well, if time allowed.

Thanks so much!
