We recently held our first alumni luggage tag contest, where we asked alumni to send us their best photos from their Wildland Adventures'. We had over 100 submissions and received photos from every corner of the globe, in the end we could only choose 8. This photo was submitted by Frank Phillips, who in 2015 traveled with us on our Turquoise Coast Odyssey. One of the highlights of this 13-day adventure is spending 5 days cruising the Turquoise Coast by a traditional Turkish gulet, exploring small Mediterranean towns, hiking remote islands and kayaking crystal clear turquoise waters.
"Our trip to Turkey included many highlights, beginning with our exploration of Istanbul and the many cultural histories and civilizations there. Istanbul became one of our favorite cities to visit. Cappadocia's sunrise hot air balloon ride over such fascinating topography was certainly a highlight not to be missed. Our time along the Turquoise coast was highlighted by beautiful hikes, the Roman ruins of Ephesus, and a Turkish lunch provided by a local family. This all was supported by our wonderful guide
