Uganda Guest Review: Gorilla Trekking

The Davi family recently returned from our Ultimate Uganda Gorilla Adventure - Enjoy their feedback and lovely photos:

"We chose Wildand Adventures because we wanted someone who had local knowledge and connections and could organize everything for us. My daughter was in Uganda 2 weeks before us doing service work and we wanted to stay in the same country but experience all the wildlife possible. She felt uneasy until she joined us because we now had someone that we could trust in terms of location, safety, food, etc. We enjoyed the pre-trip meeting in Entebbe the day before we started the safari; it informed us and got us excited at the same time. We loved the gorilla trekking, safari rides, boat ride and the chimp trekking in the ravine was fun. In hindsight, we would have liked to stay longer to see giraffes and zebras."

"Habi was the best guide ever! He was fun, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and courteous and our experience was awesome because of him. He knew the parks, the animals, and the people and he worked really hard to ensure we had a great experience. He provided helpful advice and kept everything running smoothly. It was exciting and scary when an elephant faked charging us but Habi handled it expertly and it was one of our favorite experiences."

"Our favorite place we stayed was Ndali Lodge. It was secluded and beautiful with amazing views; we felt like we were guests in someone's home. We also loved the tents at the Ishasha Wilderness Camp and the people at the Gorilla Forest CampMy daughter (who needs to eat gluten free) ate like a king. They accommodated her diet and provided top notch food for her."
