Wildland Joins Adventure Travel Conservation Fund

Twitter-baskets1
We have always had a long commitment to sustainability and responsible travel, from Inca Trail clean-ups in the late 80s to serving as founding members for the International Ecotourism Society and the International Galápagos Tour Operators Association in the mid 90's, to supporting schools in Nepal and currently supporting tiger safari guides in India.

That's why we're proud to announce our membership with the Adventure Travel Conservation Fund, to help protect and conserve the world's natural resources and to support the stability of local communities. The ATFC is an international nonprofit that funds conservation projects, consisting of over 70+ international organizations, whose mission is "to directly fund local projects engaged in the conservation of unique natural and cultural resources of adventure travel destinations." Here's how the Adventure Travel Conservation Fund works:

Thanks to the ATCF and it's members, over $76,000 was awarded in 2017 to projects around the globe who are working hard to preserve natural and cultural resources within the adventure tourism industry (see the projects here). We are proud to be part of these efforts and thankful to you, our travelers, who are making a difference!

Keeping it wild,

Your travel family at Wildland Adventures
